Every successful business needs a proper and fitting image to represent it, and Buzzard Billy’s is no exception. A logo is important because it gives customers a feeling of what their business is all about, even before they set foot inside. With this and mind, we created the logo pictured above, and were able to able to answer the questions asked when creating a logo:
What is the exact wording of your business, website, brand, tagline, etc., that should appear in the logo?
It might be a tad difficult to tell, but on the left-handed side is “Buzzard Billy’s”, and on the right, it says “Downtown La Crosse”. It seemed rather pointless to add a giant amount of text to the logo. Text is for a website or blog, a logo needs to be simple
What was the idea behind the name of our business, website, brand, etc.?
The important thing about Buzzard Billy’s is the Cajun theme it represents, as a result: Buzzards and Gators are very important to this restaurant. If you look closely, you’ll see that the Buzzard and Gator are placed in a position to show a circle in the middle of them, one revolves on the other.
What products, services, content, or qualities do we offer?
Again, this logo needed to be simple, and as a result: the three most important pieces that we felt necessary to add to the logo were the Buzzard, the Gator, and the text Downtown La Crosse.
Who is our target audience?
Our target audience is really anyone who is hungry and wants to try something adventurous. Eating Gator isn’t exactly as routine as a Hamburger or Hot Dog, and it does take a bit of variety to agree to such a thing
What words best describe the qualities of our business, website, brand, etc.?
A few words to describe Buzzard Billy’s would be: Unique, Friendly, and Adventurous.
What sort of look and feel is required in our logo?
The look and feel required for this logo was a mix of elegance and informality. While Buzzard Billy’s is a franchise with multiple restaurants in the United States, the Cajun-style that it represents undoubtedly gives you that sense of that this isn’t your average restaurant, and certainly not your fine-dining lean cuisine.
What colors best represents our business, website, personal brand, etc.?
The colors Brown (for Buzzards), and Green (for Gators), of course!
